The Journey of Healing.

Rising Hope Counseling is a group private practice agency that offers individual and couples counseling for a variety of issues, including: trauma, depression, anxiety, interpersonal and relationship problems (monogamous and non-monogamous), addictions, grief and loss, LGBT concerns, postpartum issues, acculturation, and life transitions.  The mission of Rising Hope Counseling is to work with you on these issues and help you achieve a happy, healthy life.

Our Vision

Therapy is building a trusting relationship with your therapist in which you feel comfortable taking the risks you need to take in order to make life changes. We will work alongside you to support your inner growth through self-discovery.  We believe each person is unique and capable of making lasting, positive changes.  Instilling hope and promoting mental health is our focus with each person we meet with.

Is counseling right for you?

The prospect of therapy can be intimidating. At Rising Hope Counseling we seek to provide an atmosphere that is safe and accepting. Because of the importance of "fit" between a therapist and a client, we offer a free 30 minute consultation.

Get to know us

We are Licensed Professional Counselors, EMDR level II therapists, Marriage & Family Counselors, Licensed Social Workers, and provisionally licensed graduates with over 10 years experience. We believe in the ability for each person to make positive changes in their lives and have made it our life’s work to help others discover inner peace and happiness.  We are compassionate, caring, and believe the therapeutic relationship is the essential building block for clients’ success.  We empower our clients through gentle challenging and an honest look at the self.

Our Practice

We are located in The Carriage House office complex on the north-east corner of Mulberry and Howes. Parking is located on the east side of the building. Our office is on the garden level floor and wheelchair access is located along the west side of the building; suite A-105 and A-103 have one entrance. When you arrive, please have a seat in the waiting area and your counselor will come out to meet you.

We may want to love other people without holding back, to feel authentic, to breathe in the beauty around us, to dance and sing. Yet each day we listen to inner voices that keep our life small.
